Medspa Treatment or Surgery, which is for you?
A question I get a lot from clients is, “so how long do these results last?” Well, that depends on several things. Generally, any non-invasive treatment you receive at a medical spa is going to require maintenance. Whether you get laser, broad band light, plasma or radiofrequency- even hair removal requires occasional touchups after you finish your six sessions.
As a general rule, all of our machines are recommended in packages of 3 or 6. Once you reach your desired result, or completed all sessions in your package, then you have to maintain those results with treatments once every 3 to 12 months. There are several benefits to this option. First, you do not have to go under the knife- no general anesthesia, no significant downtime, no post op infection risk and significantly less money. Also, you are prolonging your actual need for surgery if you start maintaining your face at a younger age.
What to Expect from your MedSpa Experience
It should be noted that if you go into a medspa looking into treatments, you should go in with realistic expectations. What we do provides, in some instances amazing and profound results, but those individuals with severe wrinkles or large areas of dense body fat or cellulite, surgery is likely going to be a better option for you.
Another important fact you should remember is, results are often delayed… “Why?” Radiofrequency stimulates a process called neocollagenesis. This is the process of your body building its own collagen and it takes about 30 days to produce visible results.

I think the major takeaway here is you should start early on a beauty regimen, you have to realize it takes time and sometimes you get subtle enhancements not major results, and the most important thing to remember is it takes patience and persistence.
